The resident’s support team generally determines the length of stay, which ranges from a few months to a year. Recovery residences are free from alcohol and other substances and are a common pathway used to transition back into the community following residential treatment. Anyone aged 18 or older who has completed addiction treatment in the past 12 months and is committed to sobriety can apply. Applicants must be at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness and able to live cooperatively in a supportive sober living environment. For over 25 years, Oxford House has provided safe and supportive transitional housing for individuals recovering from addiction. Our homes are operated by the residents themselves, fostering a strong sense of responsibility and community.
